ABOUT SAMANTHA
Hello! My name is Samantha Fairchild and I am a stage manager, performer, & artist in the Twin Cities. I have my bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from Minnesota State University, Mankato and am working toward completing my master's degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Some of my credits include:
Stage Management - TigerLion Arts, Wonderlust Productions, Playwrights' Center, Mixed Blood, Old Log Theatre, Theatre in the Round, Classical Actors Ensemble, & Minneapolis Musical Theatre.
Acting - Old Log Theatre, Classical Actors Ensemble, & Theatre Coup d'Etat.
I also work as the "Organizational Associate" at TigerLion Arts. I was a part-time production manager at Mixed Blood Theater and have previously been an overhire scenic artist at the Guthrie Theatre.
Some fun facts about me: I enjoy playing video games and reading in my spare time. I was named after the character Samantha Stephens from Bewitched. Before doing freelance work full time, my 'day job' was teaching special education from 2018-2023. Though I do not teach anymore, I continue to work with the disabled community through theatre and remain an advocate & ally to disabled folks. My favorite color is olive green and my favorite food is grilled cheese.
